Basics of Brioche

Brioche knitting is incredibly popular in the knitting world right now. Brioche stitch brings a unique cellular texture to knitted items and is perfect for cozy accessories and simple sweaters. Learn how to work this intriguing “ribbed” stitch during our hands-on workshop. We will practice working single-color brioche before beginning another sample in two colors. Pattern ideas to practice your new skills are provided at the end of the class.

2 contrasting colors of worsted-weight yarn
Size US 7 (4.5 mm) or 8 (5 mm) knitting needles—one 24" (60 cm) circular needle. Note: circular needles are necessary for knitting two-color brioche.
