Feel the Fear and Steek Anyway

The word "steek" and the idea of cutting your work makes most knitters tremble. But steeking isn't nearly as scary as it sounds once you understand a few basic facts. And, when you have mastered these, you may never have to seam again. In the first session we will begin a cowl and learn how to knit it to be ready for steeking. Then, once you have knit the cowl, we will meet again to learn how to prep and cut the piece, and how to finish the cut edges. We will also discuss how steeking can be used in a variety of ways.
