Color pooling is SO MUCH FUN! Planned pooling is when you intentionally plan for the colors in the skein of yarn to pool or group together throughout your project as you knit it. Assigned pooling is when specific colors or sections in a skein of yarn are assigned a different stitch pattern within a project. It's fun, easy, and addictive. Learn the tricks to make it work every time, and watch your hand-dyed yarns come alive in a whole new way!

Each swatch shown uses a stitch featured in an actual knitting pattern, including shawl, sweater and hat patterns by designers Dawn Barker, Shaina Bilow, Michele Bernstein and Samantha Hardman.

In this class you will learn how to conquer ALL of these stitches, with a boatload of trouble shooting tips along the way. As always, Keith will give clear demonstrations for you to follow. Some stitches are done over two rows, some over one. Sometimes we double wrap our yarn and sometimes we triple wrap. Sometimes we knit below stitches, and sometimes we turn our work halfway through. Sometimes we even slide stitches!
