Come dive into the basics of crochet in this hands-on, beginner-friendly class! Over four relaxed two-hour sessions, we’ll learn the essential building blocks of crochet while working on a simple, practical, confidence-boosting projects. We’ll cover how to pair yarn and hooks, understand gauge, and master foundational stitches—including chain, single, double, and treble crochet. Once everyone has a solid foundation (and their first crochet swatch!), we’ll move into reading stitches, charts, and patterns as we begin our first project together: a cozy pair of mitts then we will move into a few more projects one at a time to build your crochet repertoire.

·  US H Hook

·  Light colored worsted weight wool or similar yarn one partial skein will suffice. For our class projects, there will be four of them, for three of them you will want to use one skein of worsted weight superwash wool or a similar yarn per project approximately 200 yards each and for the fourth, a similar weight skein of cotton yarn approximately 300 yards.
