with
Nina Machlin Dayton
Class price:
$150
Session(s) per class:
4
We will learn the 4 most popular methods of working short rows and knit a sampler with them before tackling the Medici Hat, which uses short rows to shape it. We'll go over the purpose and uses of short rows, as well as how to substitute one method for another if your pattern isn't written for the method you like best. We will also learn how to work a provisional cast on, as well as Kitchener Stitch (aka Grafting) to finish the hat. All techniques will be taught in class so no previous experience in these techniques is necessary.
