Session(s) per class:

3

Did you know that you can make a shawl out of a mitered square? In this 3 session class we will knit the Merritt Shawl, a cleverly constructed shawl with a mitered square at its heart. Worked entirely in garter stitch, Merritt offers the soothing pleasure of a relaxing knit, while its clever construction provides just enough intrigue to keep more experienced knitters happily engaged - and with so many color combinations to choose from, you just may make more than one! We will learn how to knit a mitered square from tip up, discuss other possible striping patterns, and learn how to alter the size or or make this shawl in any weight yarn you want to. Please notes skipped week between class 1 and class for knitting the shawl center.
