Great neckline treatments are an integral part of the success of a garment. From selecting beautiful design elements and trims, to the confident execution of picking-up stitches to work these can make a large difference in creating a garment that you will love. Fiona believes that the design of a garment does not end at devising beautiful fabric or patterning. That to add polish and finesse to any project, attention must be given to the trims and finishes - especially at the neckline. We will look at how to draw the eye to frame the face and why this important, highlight garment style lines and continue patterning into the neckline treatment. Fiona will showcase how the choice of trims can elevate any sweater to become a couture piece rather than simply a method of neatening the edge.
