Burrastow Bag

This class teaches the "Burrastow Bag", a stranded colourwork bag knitted in the round using eight colours of Jamieson's Spindrift — a wonderful way to really get your hands into traditional Fair Isle colourwork. The bag is built in three knitted sections: side one, the bottom, and side two, with no shaping needed. Over two sessions we'll set up and knit the tube together, then experience the moment every colourwork knitter should try at least once: cutting into your own knitting, live, as a group. We'll finish with a look at different finishing routes — lined or unlined — plus zipper insertion, so you can take your bag home and complete it your way.
