Love to learn a new fiber craft and want to work towards a goal rather than just checking off individual steps? Me too, that's why I developed this crochet class to teach you the basics of crochet through a series of practical finished items you can keep for yourself or give to others. Come explore the fundamentals as we work together exploring the fine art of crochet, one stitch at a time.  In our two session, two hour classes we will start by exploring the following; pairing of yarn and hook, gauge, the chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet and treble crochet as we work on a small set of coasters. Once we all have a good base and our first crochet stitches are explored in depth, we’ll discuss the basics of reading stitches, gauge and patterns as we begin our second project together - a pair of mitts!
